Coed y Brenin visitor centre is the gateway to Coed y Brenin Forest Park. Try world-class mountain bike trails, family walks, café, cycle shop, all-ability play area and an easy access trail.

The trail network is constantly being expanded and improved too. The Y Ffowndri Skills Area & Bike Park add a range of features to test and develop your riding. Be sure to take in the breath-taking scenery, with views across to Cadair Idris, glaciated valleys, wild untamed rivers, an expanse of forest and all in the heart of Snowdonia National Park.

Facilities

The purpose-built visitor centre offers hot drinks, snacks, main meals, bike hire and a fully equipped shop. Be sure to visit, we promise you’ll want to return!

Coed-y-Brenin visitor centre opening hours:

Summer time: 9.00am – 5.00pm every day
Winter time: 9.30am – 4.30pm from Monday to Friday & 9.00am – 5.00pm Saturdays and Sundays.
Open 7 days a week (except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day).

The Bike Shop, Beics Brenin is open 7 days a week all year round (except Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Year’s Day).

Toilets and showers are available as well as disabled and baby changing facilities. There is also a shop for information, bike wash and pay and display car parking facilities.
